Summary: Small collection of assorted materials relating to the life of Henry Jaastad. Collection includes the memorial book from his funeral in 1965, two photographs including one with Eleanor Roosevelt, a manuscript entitled "A Short Summary of Expenses Imposed on the City of Tucson by the State Legislature Without the Consent of the City, also Some Notes on the Beginning of the End of Democracy in Our State, from a Layman's Viewpoint" by Henry O. Jaastad, Mayor. Also includes biographical newspaper clippings.

Biographical note: Architect and Tucson Mayor; Henry O. Jaastad came to Tucson in 1902 and opened an architecture practice after completing a course of study. In 1924, he was elected to the Tucson City Council for two terms; in 1933, he was elected Mayor and served for fourteen years.
